Reunion dinner on the eve was at his brother’s place. We had steamboat. On the 1st day, we visited his mother and on the 2nd day we visited Uncle Lim (from Mr25 group). We also met uncle chia and uncle Oh there. Good to see them after 2 long years. Next time I will be staying just a few blocks away from uncle Lim. On Friday night we had steamboat dinner at my brother’s place. I was supposed to have lunch at Keewee’s place on Saturday but I wasn’t feeling well. So I slept the whole afternoon but woke up just in time for another gathering at Conrad Hotel with a few sgrunners. Here are some pics.

Christmas was spent at home. I think every year I spend my Christmas at home with my family and to me that’s how it should be spent… with the family and loved ones! Christmas eve was just between the boy and I — well, we didn’t do much. We bought some normal food, ate, watched TV (been watching the Travel & Living channel more often lately — I like their “Christmas Special”), played games on play station and slept way before the stroke of midnight!! Yeah can you believe!?! We were both oh so tired.

This morning (on Christmas day) my alarm rang at 7am. It was time for a morning workout. The boy also woke up and came with me to the stadium. I did my second 5km time trial run on track (my first was last week). This time I ran in 22:55, about 30 seconds of improvement hehe. My body still ached from Sunday’s weight training. Tomorrow’s just gonna be some light 1km interval.

And as we walked back home hand in hand we stopped for a while…

Had dinner with my bro, sis, couz and in-laws on Saturday. We went to The Vila’ge — my 2nd time in less that a week and I might be going there again with my poly mates soon haa — I like this place! It has this warm and cosy setting. We ordered several stuffs including ox tail (?), the famous pig knuckles, pure veggies, pizza, nice deserts etc. I didn’t try the ox and the pig knuckles. I’m on my way of becoming a vegetarian. Well I’m still eating fish though as I still can’t suddenly exclude everything … little by little … but thinking of turning into a full Ovo-Lacto vegetarian soon. I’m feeling great so far. It kind of feels weird when you tell people that you want to become a vegetarian. Of course they will ask you why. Then when you eat out with friends, it feels a bit odd too. Well maybe it’s just me eh

Anyway here are some pics of the night … We went for a movie after dinner. Watched “Warlords“, a 2.5 hr chinese movie with english subtitles. It was a nice movie.

My parents’ last day in Singapore, at Changi Airport … Miss them …

Brought my parents to East Coast Park on Sunday. This is their last weekend in Singapore. Yeah, 2 months have already passed by. They are heading back to Mauritius this Saturday morning They can come here anytime and stay longer now that they have a long term social visit pass.

We rented a few bikes and cycled along the beach. Dear and I took a 2 seat bicycle and I was the one who pedaled most of the time. Well I wanted to! Dinner was at the Food Centre. Nice food there!
