Hi my name is Carine Olivia and I’m 27 years old. I’m a wife, daughter, sister, auntie and friend. I am Mauritian. Born and raised. I am currently blogging from Singapore. I enjoy running, cycling, staying active, eating healthy food (80%), cooking and baking.
With my husband and our fur baby, Mikey.
My family means the world to me.
Some random facts about me
- I was born and raised in Mauritius (an island located in the Indian Ocean, East of Africa See Wiki).
- I lived in Beijing, China from 1997 to 2000.
- I came to Singapore in 2001.
- Some significant events that took place in my past 10 years.
- We tied the knot in 2008.
- I love my cat (Mikey).
- I am not a fan of rice, pasta and noodle. Well my tastes always changes.
- I am not a foodie person. I like to try new food occasionally but most of the time I stick to what I always eat (chicken, fish, salads, fruits etc).
- On the other hand, I like to be adventurous in my kitchen by trying new recipes or coming up with my own :)
- I seldom talk about what I do at work but if you really want to know (I’m sure you are somehow curious), well I am behind a desktop most of the time using applications such as photoshop, flash, powerpoint, outlook, msn live, firefox, excel, lots of opened folders and many times liaising with people over the phone or in the meeting room and sometimes I am at roadshows. I am surrounded by fun co-workers. I see sport apparels and running shoes everyday. So go figure :) Sometimes after work hours I am still using photoshop and dreamweaver. Go figure again hehe :)
- I only owe 2 pairs of running shoes and less than 5 pairs of casual shoes (yeah I’m so not into shoes!)
- I run 3 times a week maybe. I enjoy doing DVD workouts in the morning. I like Jackie Warner and Jillian Michaels
- I am a tea person, an introvert, an animal lover
