18.5 months

Here’s what is happening at almost 18.5 months:

Chalene is obsessed with her new giant bear. She keeps saying bear bear even in her dreams.

Bedtime is a struggle at the moment because both refuse to sleep in their cots and insist on sleeping on the floor (we have a floor cushion). However I enjoy accompanying them to sleep. Down at around 8-ish and up at 7-ish

They think that medicine syrup is a sweet treat and look forward to being fed with the syringe! It’s crazy I know but I don’t mind because it makes medicine feeding very easy

Chantel is obsessed with birds and says bye to everything and everyone (well almost to everyone as it depends on her mood).

They love trees and want to touch every single one. They will say “more more … ”

Love to play peekaboo with each other

Chalene is scared of their school’s cook who is such a nice & friendly lady

“Chalene, smileeee!”

Can’t let both sleep on our bed because they will start jumping  and laughing in the middle of the night.

Next week they graduate from the infant section. Hello Pre Nursery 1 (will have to wear uniform)

They love to stand on our body followed by raising their hands (like what a gymnast does after a move)

Mealtimes is not so much of a struggle anymore. They actually look forward to wearing their pocket bib and sitting on the highchair. They love all fruits but don’t fancy veggies such as lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and most other veggies. What they do like is spinach, carrots, winter melon, corn.

They won’t hold their dolls but don’t mind feeding them.

Love to pretend play – cook and pretend to feed each other.

Chantel doesn’t mind that big sis holds her hand

They go “weeeeee” when going down the slide

Water makes them happy

  1. wowsers, you got twins?
Sorry I haven’t been around for a long long long time
…been busy with work and stuffs

    Congratulations :)

  2. You need twin boys now to complement it! XD

Yea, so far so good on my side :)

Now, I no longer have to worry about my Mauritian passport
and its insufferable need for a visa when traveling overseas.
    I’m so happy!

With a Mauritian passport, even for a 1 hour transit, I have had to apply for a visa – Can you believe that? I may as well shoot myself with an arrow in the knee…lol

Speaking of which, do you have SG citizenship? Or have you kept your MRU citizenship with SG permanent resident status?

Do you know if we are allowed to have dual citizenship? I have emailed the MRU internal affairs 2-3 months ago. AND still no reply. 2-3 MONTHS! Shocking! XD
