I am now on half day maternity leave and half day work from home till June. I am really grateful for this arrangement because my girls can only be enrolled in infant care from June onwards due to no vacancy prior to that. But most importantly, I am able to look after them a little longer! They will be almost 7 months old when they go to infant care.
The other day while mum was cooking, both were crying because they wanted to be carried. They usually get a little cranky in the evening before bedtime.
At the moment they love to look at the moving stuffs hanging from the cot mobile. I can leave them alone for about 20 – 30 minutes to go do my stuffs while the cot mobile keeps them entertained.
Same with the play mat
Chantel can now nap by herself during the day. She plays on the playmat or look at the cot mobile till she feels drowsy, then starts to eat her hands and fuss a little before dozing off. I don’t let her see me because if she does, she will want mama to carry her!
Chalene on the other hand, needs mama to rock her to sleep :)
Nights are getting better. They sleep a little earlier now, between 8.00 – 8.30 pm. They still wake up once at night usually between 2 – 5 am for a feed.

I like the first picture of them in the cot. It’s like the left one is telling the right one:”Look! See how they move? Woah! So excitiiiiing.” Haha! I’m amazed your arms have not developed into some kind of weightlifter’s arms by now, after carrying the both of them. :D
