Day 12 / 18 in Mauritius

Posted on Thursday, June 17th, 2010 by admin  |  13 Comments »

Good evening all! So today L brought me to Jumbo in the morning, where I spent a good 1.5 hrs grocery shopping. LOVE! <3

After that, we went to Phoenix Les Halles mall to shop a little before driving back to Port-Louis for lunch. The escalators in Mauritius are in the upward direction only. Correct me if I’m wrong.

After lunch at Caudan Waterfront.

We are heading to the beach again tomorrow until Saturday. Niiiiiite!!

Noooo I prefer to grocery shop :) But next time I will spend more time shopping for clothes (you know, those nice made-in-Mauritius shirts – Habit, ONeil etc.)

As for the escalators … are you sure or are you kidding me? :D

Checked the first Star Wars vid — me not so much of a star wars fan but the graphics is nice.

    @ Waz

No I don’t go back to Mauritius every year as my parents usually come and visit all of us (my bro and sis) here almost every year …

Told ya I was into grocery shopping! hahahha. It’s the same back in Singapore :) I just love to browse through food items! When I was in Mauritius, I loved looking at those french or South African food brands – we don’t find them over here.

Did you visit any supermarket in Singapore? Did you manage to find that coconut thingy??

  11. Angele Says:

I went to a few supermarkets but can’t recall the names @_@ Was there mostly to look for pretzels for LaSh and snacks for me :D

Hehe my mom took the coco santang at mustafa. She went there again and got the coco powder stuff. We weren’t sure whether it was the same thing my cousin was looking for but mom bought 3 packets anyway XD

So, coco santang is the brand? Hehe, so Lash likes pretzels? I like sour cream and cheese pretzels.
