Left-over spring roll wraps

Hey guys! I’m typing, eating and watching TV :) I’m pretty good at multitasking!

What’s for dinner?

Microwaved prawn balls, curried cabbage with 3 types of curry powders (veggie, fish and Mauritian curry) and two thick slices of bread (bought the bread at a bakery near my workplace. It is super light and thick, good for french toasts). Yeah, simple (but normal to me) stuffs  … I’m clearing my fridge …  Mikey managed to steal one of the prawn balls while I was typing!

What do you do with left-over spring roll wrappers other than spring rolls? Spiral Sandwiches!

Yup, these were made with spring roll wraps. I didn’t want to make spring rolls again. So I made something else that was easier and faster! I used 10 spring roll wraps to make one spiral sandwich. You  need about two rolls to fill you up.

Layered with ham, cheese, mustard sauce, hummus, more ham, more cheese, more hummus and more sauce!

Roll everything and bake till golden brown. You can use more wraps and whatever filling you fancy.

These were fabulous! Look at the cheese oozing out …

I (now) see myself buying more spring roll wraps in the future :)

XOXOXO

You should try :) And spring roll wraps aren’t as buttery as the filo pastry ones.
