Peekaboooooo ….
Mikey is peeking at Toto, who seems to be quite at home already!
I am slowly introducing them to each other. Mikey of course is well aware that there’s another cat in the house.

Nothing much … As Mikey comes closer, Toto makes a little cute sound. He seems a little scared of Mikey. Mikey seems curious. He also wags his tail which is usually a sign of some level of predatory indecision or conflict. Sometimes he wags his tail when he is excited. Mikey doesn’t attack Toto … I think he is just bullying him or telling him that he’s the boss in this house! LOL.
Then, Mikey steps back and does this. He seems relaxed …
And Toto simply watches Mikey …

Mikey in the first picture looks very cute, like you said curious and cautious.
I’m glad that Mikey is showing acceptance for another cat in his territory. :) Maybe he realized that it’s not so bad, as long as he’s still the boss.
Although toto is laying on his belly and look relaxed, his tail is fluffy; a sign that he is feeling a bit scared. He didn’t run off, maybe cos he really wants to befriend Mikey. After all toto is very playful, he must be thinking that having another play mate is definitely worth the risk. :P

Mikey is totally used to having Toto at home now. He was in a playful mode yesterday :) Toto wandered around the house and Mikey didn’t seem angry or jealous. Maybe because he has already made it clear that he’s the boss! hahaha.

Awwww :) My neighbours have 2 cute kittens, about the same age as my cat and we are trying to get them to be friends but its sooooo hard. Iris is scared, because she’s been the only cat for a while. But the 2 other cats want to play with her so much, i feel a bit sorry for them. She just hisses back at them, but is really curious whenever they go away and want to see more of them. LOL :P
We are planning to get another cat too, so will be really interesting to see how it goes.

At first, my cat would also hiss at my friend’s cat (Toto) but after a couple of days, he got used to having another cat at home. It’s important to slowly introduce them to each other.
