Quick cinnamon biscuits

One more day at work before the long weekend! Friday is a public holiday here :) Hope you’re having a good week so far.

I forgot to blog about the quick cinnamon biscuits that I made last week.

What you’ll need

  • 1 shortcrust pastry sheet (those ready made ones)
  • sugar and cinnamon

The steps

  1. Defrost the frozen pastry sheet.
  2. Spread sugar and cinnamon over the sheet.
  3. Roll.
  4. Cut into desired thickness.
  5. Bake for about 20 mins or until golden.

Very simple right? Another quick & simple thing using those ready made pastry sheets is a tart. The filling was pear and some left over frozen raspberries & strawberries.

That cinnamon biscuits recipe is super easy! o_o Too bad I’m not very fond of cinnamon. Hehehe. But the tart with the pear, strawberry and raspberry filling looks good. How do you proceed for this one?

Long weekend? Wow lucky girl! I’m jealous :(

You don’t like cinnamon? hehe. You can replace the cinnamon & sugar with Parmesan cheese & sesame :)

For the tart, I didn’t follow any recipe … so can’t remember the quantity used. I defrosted the frozen berries, then mixed them with diced pears. Add some brown sugar & mix. Place over the pastry sheet and bake …

    Yeah LONG WEEKEND!!! haha
