Sis’ birthday
I’ve been wanting to blog much earlier but as usual I’ve been busy, lazy … well not really in the blogging mode lately. I hope all of my readers are doing well. I’ve kept up with my blogs reading but, just too lazy to leave comments.
Gosh I hate applying for visas — gotta submit this and that… Thank God our tourist visas are all settled! We will be in Western Australia next month :) Just for a week.
We celebrated sis’ birthday last Sunday, the day that Singapore celebrated its 44th Birthday. We had a late dinner because we were all watching the National Day Parade live on TV. I only managed to catch the last part as I was busy in the kitchen :) For dinner, mum made homemade briyani and I prepared some cucumber salad and “chatini pomme d’amour” (tomato chutney) to go along with it. I also baked a chocolate birthday cake with cream cheese frosting and mum prepared apricot pudding. There were fruits and tarts too. We were all so so stuffed!!

To keep things simple I used paper plates. I know … not environmentally friendly … but no dish washing after dinner :P

Heyyy ^^ I’ve missed you! I’m glad you’re blogging again. Hahaha. I thought maybe you were kinda busy since your mom n dad were in Sg.
A very happy birthday to your sis ;)
The dinner menu looks yummy. Briyani with cucumber salad *drools*
I don’t know how to make briyani. Hahaha! Do you?
