Time is flying too fast
Hey’all! My folks are in Singapore and I’m so happy :) I usually get to see them once a year and every moment spent with them is a moment I treasure. Well, it’s been a long day today! Roadshow … meeting clients … I didn’t even have time to step into the office (not that I wanted to haha). I’m going to get some sleep soon and let the pictures do the talking.

Mum made some fish “Hakien“, a mauritian snack which looks like spring rolls, and brought them over :)

She also made “Cotelette Poule” (photo below). It is good to eat these homemade stuffs again! I told her to bring “poisson salé” too :)

We had dinner at my brother’s place the other day

Bro made Linguine Aglio E Olio and Oregano Chicken a la Jamie Oliver style

A view from my brother’s living room. I love the view.

I was in China Town for a while on Sunday

The husband and I at China Town

Goodnight everyone :)

Yummy! Homemade hakiens and cotelette all the way from Mauritius :D
I’m sure your mom is going to make you all some nice Mauritian dishes while she’ll be staying in Singapore. Hehehe. Enjoy!

It’s a Bukit Panjang. It’s the highway that you see.

Enjoy the company of your parents. You are lucky to be able to see them once a year. Sheron and I get to see ours every 3 years. Do you know how to make hakien ? If you know how to make them, you can enjoy them all year long, right?
My aunt makes some very good hakien, I should ask her to show me who to make them. She lives like 10 minutes from my place :-)
