It’s a very friendly place indeed. Of course ,there are always some who are not going to be friendly.This is usually more easily seen in bigger cities like Toronto because there people don’t have time. They lose so much time in traffic every day.

I used to live in Greater London. When it came time to buy, I picked a town on the map at random. It turns out to be a great place despite the slow pace of life, but there are so many towns around that provide what is lacking in our own.

As heard on the train PA as we approached the station, “This is Farnborough. Farnborough is f***ing awesome.”

I’m not into bustling cities and the night life. I’m living in one and I hardly go to the city. I don’t like the crowd and I prefer to stay at home :)

To retire in Mauritius? Yes .. but maybe not to work there. In fact I’ve never worked in Mauritius, so I don’t know what to expect… Here, it’s crazy.

I don’t like hectic places. When I first came to Canada, I had the chance to compare Kitchener and Toronto and it was not a difficult decision for me to make: I did not want to live in Toronto because it was too hectic there.

It’s true that in Toronto there is more of everything from food to entertainment, but houses and insurance premiums are more expensive there.

At least you get to spend time with your mother and relatives. Although I do have relatives in Canada, I don’t get to see my parents as often as I want. Moreoever, they don’t get to see their grandchild. It’s true that the grass always seem greener on the other side of the fence, but it’s mostly that what we want does not exist. We want to live in a place where we have everything of what we want and nothing of what we don’t want.

I like Mauritius too but sometimes I’m so bored here!

I like the bustling cities, the night life (something we don’t have in Mtius during the week -_- )…
But then again, people always think that the grass is greener somewhere else. Sometimes it is, at other times, it is definitely not!

Have you ever considered coming back to live in Mtius with yr hubby and mikey?

I love Mauritius…but there’s so much to see elsewhere (“ailleurs” = elsewhere right? hiii) that i will not hesitate to live our “Paradise Island”. ^^
