Happy Father’s Day!
My dad is so very unique in his own ways. He is quite the stubborn type. Who isn’t anyway? I’m also one stubborn person. Tel père telle fille, non! :) I love him no matter what.
One of the happiest moments was walking down the aisle with my dad, last year in March.

Guess what I’m currently reading?
I borrowed 3 recipe books from the library yesterday – “Bars & Squares“, “Miracle Soups” and “Fresh Bakes“. The photos inside are so tempting!! Well… browsing through recipe books is one thing. Baking is another. If I’m in the mood I will try one or two recipes …
That was one of the many things that I ate yesterday. Broccoli & Cauliflower in Bechamel Sauce topped with cheddar cheese. Simple yet delicious and full of great nutrients that are good for the body.
I think I can pretty much simply live on vegetables, fruits and breads! Oh! snacks too.

I always go teary when I see a bride walking down the aisle with her father. It’s something I will never share with my dad :( Anyway, this is a great picture of you and your father! Happy father’s day to him :D
Hehe, seems like Mikey is interested in baking as well!
Just had cauliflower gratin for dinner. I never tried to mix broccoli and cauliflower together when making gratin. But I usually mix them when I prepare stir-fry :P

I also go teary! But I managed to hold my tears that day :) hehe. I know… it’s sad … but he’ll be there in your heart and spirit and watching & smiling with joy eh :)
The mix is nice. I wanted to finish them as they were more than 4 days old (they are best when consumed within a few days only), thus mixed them both ehhe.
