Tofu Burger Cake
So tonight’s dinner was Andrea’s tofu cake with a little twist. I will call them Tofu Burger Cakes. I added a few extra ingredients and instead of pan frying them, I baked them as I could bake them all in one go!

I ate mine wrapped in a big lettuce. I loved it! These tofu burger cakes are not only healthy and delicious, but they are also quick and easy to prepare!

Well I had already chopped all the ingredients since yesterday – froze half of them because I made too much even with only 2 tau kwa tofu. Tonight I only had to combine all the ingredients together and mold them into nice round burgers.

Ingredients
- 2 Tau Kwa Tofu (the hard ones)
- 1 green onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup frozen corn
- Some flour
- Breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper
Method
- Combine all the ingredients together except the breadcrumbs
- Mold into round burgers and coat with breadcrumbs
- Bake or pan-fry the burger (you can pan-fry first to brown them before baking them)

Tomorrow night I am making pumpkin-filled wonton. I’ve already boiled and mashed the pumpkins. So tomorrow I will just spice it up a little.

First time I hear of pumpkin-filled wonton o_O How do you cook the wontons once they’re wrapped? In soup like the regular wontons??

It’s a modified version of a pumpkin-filled ravioli. Have you had ravioli before? There are fillings inside two layers of thin pasta dough. Instead of using fresh pasta dough, I’m gonna use wonton skins as they readily available in all supermarkets unlike fresh pasta dough.
Once they are wrapped, I am thinking of either baking them (makes them crispy!) or boil them in lightly salted water. I’m thinking of baking them though, as it seems less troublesome :)

I’ve eaten ravioli a few times mostly with beef fillings or cheese and spinach. They were made from fresh pasta dough and they tasted yummy.
Now I understand the pumpkin-filled wonton! Hahaha. Nice version of ravioli :P Did you know that sometimes wontons and dumplings are called “ravioli chinois”?
