I thought I would shed a tear or two …
Nope … I cried like a baby. I cried till my eyes were swollen. The husband brought my cat to me and I hugged him like crazy. I can’t imagine the day my cat gets up there :(
Marley & Me is definitely a sad movie and I don’t ever wanna watch it again. Thank god I didn’t see this in the theaters. I don’t know how I would have handled it.
Sidetrack: Do you know what “Up Lorry” mean? I have never heard of this singlish expression up till a couple of days ago in a conversasion. It is used to describe an unfortunate event e.g a person who died and “got on the funeral car”, a.k.a. “lorry”. It sounded funny to me at first :)
It was nice to watch it together with the husband at home. The movie is not only about the dog but also about real life situations. We had a movie marathon at home today. After Marley & Me, we watched another one called Punisher: War Zone. It’s an action movie. I’m done with movies for today! As I am typing this, he’s beside watching another movie, a chinese one this time.

I made pizzas for dinner! They are delicious and have thin crispy crust. I also baked a sweetened condensed milk cake and had some left over condensed milk. So I made some iced tea with the left overs.

I’m going to watch Marley and me right now. I hope I don’t cry too much because earlier I watched an episode of Grey’s anatomy and I cried :|

I watched the movie last night. Omg… I shed some tears when Jennifer Aniston lost her very first baby and when she was crying and hugging Marley. And I cried even more when Marley was put down :’( It’s a sad movie but I enjoyed watching it because it’s all about life and the love between a dog and a human being.
“A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn’t care if your rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he’ll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary? ”
I like that quote from John at the end of the movie.

My first tear was also when she lost her very first baby. And the next one was when Marley was starting to show the first sign of aging :( And I knew immediately what was going to happen in the end :(
I love this movie quote.
