Guess what the husband and I are playing right now with these tiny notes.
haha he came back home with a mini monopoly game! And so far I’m the one losing more money! Jail, fine, tax, fees etc. etc :(
But it’s fun fun fun!
Dinner was the usual lasagna-style eggplant. It’s becoming a common dish at home now. Okay back to the game now.

The last time LaSh and I played monopoly was like years ago. Hahaha! And it wasn’t even the board version. He made me play the computer monopoly! And as expected, I lost almost every time >.>
My dinner tonight is going to be panini with ham and cheese. I’m kinda tired tonight and I don’t feel like cooking.
Your lasagna-style eggplant dish reminds me of moussaka. I haven’t prepared moussaka for a long time now. This is definitely going on my list for my meal plans!

Monopoly, I like to play it, though I play very rarely….
But I find the game boring when all slots are taken up and you must pay for every move you make lol!

Well I lost in the end! Arrrgggg :D Most of the time I win at board games when I play with him hhaaaha.

Yeah that lasagna-style eggplant is a modified version of moussaka and Eggplant Parmesan. I also roasted some diced pumpkin while the oven was on for tonight.

I played monopoly so many years ago but it was fun to play it again :) He built so many houses that sucked all my money in the end!! haha

I cook almost every night because usually I get home earlier than my mom. Or sometimes when she cooks, then I’m in the kitchen helping her. I’m not a chef and there are dishes that I don’t really know how to prepare. When in such situations, my mom does the cooking and I just watch… and learn :P
I think I like baking more than cooking.

I believe mothers are always the best cook.
And the best way to learn and to love cooking is by watching your mother hehehe. I used to help and watch mine cook since I was young. She’s coming over here soon and I can’t wait to watch or help her in the kitchen again! There are still have a lot of home mauritian dishes that I wanna learn from her.

I almost always lose when playing monopoly. When I was a kid, I used to hide under the table everytime I lost. :D

Shame on me but there’s quite a few Mauritian dishes that I don’t know how to prepare!
