La vie est belle

Yesterday’s overnight cycling was really fun. From 10pm on Thursday night to 7am on Friday, six Mauritians friends cycled over 100 km and covered various parts of Singapore. We stopped a couple of times to eat the famous crispy roti prata along Upper Thomson Road, replenish with water, coke and mineral drinks, enjoy the fresh air at the two reservoirs that we visited, and take care of a few really funny technical incidents such as cramps and broken bicycle haha. I loved both the up and down slopes — the latter is way better of course :)

We rented five bicycles from “Our Family Corner” shop at East Coast Park ($15 per bicycle). The employees were patient enough to wait for us till 8.30 pm — we were late as we were stuck in the heavy traffic along ECP.

Breakfast was at McDonald! I reached home at around 9 am but didn’t sleep immediately. I only slept for about 4 hrs on Friday!
