Breaking my 12km barrier
I can’t believe my initial 12km run on Friday morning turned out to be a half marathon run — 21km. At 12km my legs were still feeling strong and it wasn’t a hot weather either, so I thought “why not go for 16km” (4km difference because the jogging track is 2km). When I reached 16km, I thought … “heck why not just finish a half marathon, it’s just another loop!”
I haven’t done anything more than 12km for more than a year. I’m really glad I went beyond that 12km barrier. I’m feeling great. The two hours was a joy. Looking forward for more!
