Mr and Mrs Tan
I’m officially a Mrs. now hehe. It’s been two days since I committed for life. I Will blog about the wedding day soon! There were some pre wedding hiccups and some bad coordination on the actual day but other than that, the night was great and we enjoyed! I am relieved that the big day is over because I can relax and enjoy now!! I will get the wedding photos after our honeymoon. For the time being, here are some of our studio photos. Once again, THANK YOU for attending our wedding and to those who couldn’t make it, thank you for keeping us in your thoughts on that day. Thank you for all the red packets and gifts received!

Hi,
Am a BTB of La Vie and you look very sweet n pretty! There’s this pink gown pic (in flickr) however,i can see the hand that is supporting it..Maybe u can ask Lewis to crop it else it looks rather unprofessional on their part leh..
Hopefully my fotoshoot next mth turns out well! and wishing you a happy marriage!

@ ultimatemocha: Hey there BTB! How do you find La Vie? I loved their service and they are really friendly. Yep I know about the hand hhaha :) He gave me both the edited and unedited version and I think some of the pics here (the pink one for sure) is one of the unedited one. When is ur wedding? Congrats!

Hey gal, u just came back from ur honeymoon! =) Muz be lagging nw ya?lol
My AD is in end nov 08 leh…
Actually the pink one is the more distinctive one, there are another 2 studio pics if i rmbr correctly, where i can spot the corner in one of the pics , hopefully that’s the raw one as well else u can ask him to crop and edit..else u look very pretty in ur pics..=)
The golden color gown was also recommended by Jeff to me but in the end,i took another fuschia pink gown and another striking blue in diff tones…see hw it goes..am waiting for my mtm bridal gown (but had to top up money..heartache *S* )
Honestly speaking,Jeff and Ivy are a great bunch of ppl..We didnt really communicate with Lewis cos he’s usually quite quiet..so dunno much abt him. Did you get him for your AD as well? If so,i will be anticipating for your pics!lol
Did you choose the fotoshoot venues yourselves or Lewis just brought u all there?Apparently Jeff said it is better to let Lewis bring us there since he knows more abt the venues but actually we do have our own places in mind…
Ask you ah, did Lewis do any editing as in those journalistic types for u.. blurry background and focusing on something else, or capturing moods rather than all just focusing on face…cos the pics i see are mainly quite frontal and direct..i prefer something journalistic so i am nt sure if he can deliver that?Apologies for asking so many qns!
March 26th, 2008 at 9:05 pm
hmm..i have posted a reply yesterday but seems it has disappeared.
Oh,my wedding is end of the yr so still relaxing and idling nw..
Honestly Jeff and Ivy are a bunch of nice ppl..didnt really communicate with Lewis so cant comment much..prolly during the fotoshoot will we be able to engage with him more. The honey color gown was offered to me by Lewis as well but in the end i took a fuschia pink gown and a different shades of blue gown…Also did a mtm wedding gown with them and eagerly waiting for the fitting to see the final design..
Actually do need to ask u something…are all the pics that he has given you or going to give u are all frontal or direct shots? Meaning theres no special editing where the background can be surreal or blurry effect but there’s a focus on something.

hey can delete one of the posts?i didnt know the replies had to be moderated before posting..so it turns out a double posting..lol

Hi Carine
Congrats!
I did a mtm wedding gown fitting and i heard that its gg to be featured on a bridal mag! And i saw Lewis pics – it was very nicely taken! The places he brought the couples to, were very different.
Are u going to collect your AD pics? I cant wait to see them. I also made a cheongsam tea dress and awaiting for it to complete, made of chiffon and those light and flowy kind.

@ultimatemocha: I’ve removed the unedited pics as I was told that people are making bad comments about him because of those unedited pics. Poor thing. Didn’t know some would react that way or it will reach this stage. These were just unedited pics… Yah he did some effects with some blury effect. Also edited one where I was painting and made it looked as if I was painting my hubby. As for the places, we chose some and some we let him choose. We chose the stadium as it’s where both of us met.
For our AD photography, I have a friend whom I got as photographer but if he wasn’t available, I would have gotten Lewis.
Good luck with the preparation. I’m so glad my dinner is over!! It was such a hectic week prior to the wedding.

actually someone pm me abt the pics so i enquired abt the pics in the forum. i think it was my fault also,i saw the pics and were concerned also lor,so i asked some qns and then the thing just got misinterpreted. Hey, i apologise for it ok? We should move on from here, otherwise i really think you look great leh. I will be looking forward to your AD pics then! :P

Hi, hw many outdoor gowns does La Vie provide? 2 wedding gowns or 1?
April 25th, 2008 at 9:54 am
It was raining on that day, so he gave us a 2 piece gown to wear which can be converted into a casual 2 piece. It was like a 2 in one.
April 25th, 2008 at 11:06 am
ic,cos i saw the gown u wore outdoor is diff frm the one u wore at the beach. the beach is 2pcs but the one at the museum seems halterneck kind
April 25th, 2008 at 11:24 am
Yah I forgot, he gave me another top – one halterneck and another one is tube. But the bottom part was the same piece, a 2 in 1.

Hi Carine!
Congrats!
Would like to enquire on your experience with La Vie. I saw quite alot of comments on Singaporebrides and I am getting concerned. Preferably you can email me about your experience with them?
Thanks in advance!
