Today marks the 4th week of my 3-month fitness and diet goal. My goals are simple: Just do regular runs, no more late night suppers (e.g order MacDonald @ 1am or buy fried spring chicken from the 24hr coffee shops that are just opposite my block) and to consume more fruits … Speaking of fruits, I still haven’t eaten the two kiwis & pears that my parents had left for me since last week! At times I don’t feel like eating fruits. Maybe I’m too lazy to peel them …
As far as running is concerned, it’s going as planned. What plan you may ask. Well the plan is just to run on alternate days. I’ve been doing tempo runs on the track as of late, with some short intervals in-between. The plan is also to go for a long run once a week and do resistance training with dar once a week. The other day, I was telling Philip how slow I am. I feel that I’m running fast but wait till a young or old dude overtakes me
As far as food is concerned, I’ve been eating moderately i.e no over-eating. Of course I still have my potato chips (I have a knack for dry Tapioca chips now) every now and then - “how can I forego this!”. We haven’t had late night orders for quite some time. When he wants to order, I remind him of the goals.
