*Alarm rings*
“What time is it?” - I murmured.
He turned on the lights.
I looked at my phone, “It’s still 6.20am. Let me sleep till 6.30am. You can eat breakfast first.” - I grumbled again.
Five minutes later, I reluctantly got out of my bed and slowly put on my running attires. I was still half asleep but determied to go for a morning workout with him. We said we would train together at the stadium two times a week and today is only our first week.
I wonder how I managed to wake up at 6am every day when I used to go for my spinning class at Fitness First gym last time … I guess when there’s a will there’s a way huh. Last time I was very determined to get back my fitness (and I did get back some fitness but it didn’t last for too long because I went back into my old bad habits). And now? ha ha ha. The will is not so strong. Yes too many excuses!
Anyway, five minutes later after having a cup of cold milo and a slice of raisin bread, we left the house and walked towards the stadium (about 800m away).
As usual, there was a bunch of uncles and aunties at the stadium and they were doing their mass exercises. They are here every morning.
We started with 2km warmup, followed by some basic running drills. I felt funny doing ankling, buff kicks and high knee lift. It’s been months since I last did those. Then we did some 200m fartlek as a start. Dear suggested we should both sign up for a 10km run. I’m a little reluctant of course but I know if I do sign up, I will be motivated to train for it.
The workout was great. I felt great (but tired)!
I’m out for now. Have a great day!

I remember when I used to wake up at 6am to exercise. Some days it was a torture to get out of bed but for sure when u’re motivated (almost :P)nothing can come yr way.
And I was always amazed at how great I felt all day long despite the tiring hours of gym early in the morning!
