Isn’t chewing gum banned in SG? I didn’t think that it would be this easy to ‘smuggle’ chewing gum into the country. :P

To Aline: Yeh, selling of those normal gums are banned but I don’t think they ban people from bringing in gums as long as they don’t bring in to sell. I heard they do sell gums for smokers but you need an ID before you buy them.

To Lash: Yes it’s mentos gum. Sugar free but still sweet because they use sweetener instead of real sugar. You aren’t into sugar free gums / candies?

Yup, I can’t stand the taste of sweeteners in candies n stuff, I still prefer by far those with REAL sugar – despite getting death threats from my dentist and Angele >_> .
Even sweeteners used in tea at home by my parents taste ‘funny’.
May be it’s just me – who knows!

To Lash: I can’t really tell if the candies contain real sugar or sweeteners :D But coke, Pepsi and sprite are easier to tell. Have you tried the Sprite Lite? Ewww I can’t stand the taste! Diet Pepsi and diet coke are still ok though.
