Mikey’s Birthday?
First of all, Happy Birthday to my brother! I was wondering whether it’s today or on the 28th November (long story) but it’s today! Birthday dinner will be next week I think.

I bought a small Birthday Hat for Mikey during the weekend. I wanted to take a photo of Mikey wearing that birthday hat on the 23rd of December, which is the day that I adopted Mikey last year. But as you can see, I couldn’t wait till December haha. Dear took this photo at the right moment, just when Mikey started his first meow : )
Wow, looking back at Mikey’s first few photos, my then little cat has grown into a BIG cat now! Do you know that Mikey’s original name was Mike? I thought Mike sounded too short, so I started calling him Mikey hehe.
Do you also know that Mikey had a brother and I had to choose either him or his brother? It was darl who suggested that we adopt Mikey. I wanted to adopt both but I couldn’t because another couple whom we met on the same day was gonna adopt his brother. But you know what? In the end, that couple did not adopt Mikey’s brother (I know it because we kept in touch via sms)! A month later, I went back to the SPCA to take a look at Mikey’s brother (I had in mind of adopting him) but I couldn’t find him as he had already been adopted. I was glad in a way : ) I will get another cat when I buy my own house.
