Not sure if this is true or not. I dared not try.

Next … the driver brought us to a Giordano shop. I was quite surprised to see a Giordano shop in Mauritius.
Next … handcrafted wooden ship models shop.

Next … a diamond cutting factory. The raw diamond is first shaped. Then it is polished.

Next … Trou aux cerf. It was very cold and windy!

Trou aux cerfs is perched at 605m above mean sea level. The crater is 80m deep with a diameter of 180m at the base. Trou aux cerfs is a young dormant volcano which wa active 700,000 to 600,000 years ago.

Next … Grand Bassin. Grand Bassin is considered as a sacred lake. It is a place of pilgrimage for a large number of Mauritians of the Hindu faith.

Next we visited Bois Cheri tea factory where we tasted different flavours of tea. My favourite is the exotic fruit flavour.
