Fitness First membership
I finally signed up for a one year membership at Fitness First. It was either Planet Fitness or Fitness First. I chose the latter because it’s nearer to the train station haha. The Capital Tower FF branch seems smaller & more quiet than one of the PF branches (Suntec) I’ve been to last year. Doesn’t matter as long as they provide enough group classes. I’m darn excited about all the classes they offer (yoga, pilates, bodypump etc..). Personal training would cost $99 per 1 hr session but of course I won’t get a personal trainer (I’m only entitled to 2 free personal training sessions). Why get one when I have one of my own eh :) So I start next week (got 2 free weeks)! I intend to hit the gym in the morning before work. So very convenient as it’s only 4 minutes walk away from my office. Hope I can see some nice results in a few months’ time (provided that I remain disciplined of course!). By the way, if any of you wanna join Fitness First or is already a member, let me know!
Today I ran with my friend. We jogged around Sembawang area and passed by a few factories which emitted different kinds of smell: spices, milo, coffee, soap etc. Then, inside the train on my way back home, a mormon missionary sister approached me. Well we just chatted about some non-church stuffs but I know she was trying to pass some messages to me. She’s from Hawaii, looked quite young (my age) and very chatty.
