Guess what I was picking …

Tomatoes! Too bad we didn’t get to pick fresh apples instead because we came during the tomato season *sign* … I don’t like raw tomatoes. I picked them just for fun. Mind you, we need to pay for the tomatoes!

Poor dog who was kept in this tiny cage!

Hello little fellows!

I like this flower because of its striking purple pink colours.

Next … Country Lunch

This small doggie kept playing with us

He’s a funny dog
We had a nice country lunch whose taste is a bit different from the other typical Taiwanese food. I especially liked the fried rice which was was different from the normal fried rice because of some special herbs.

Next … Back to Taiwan City
Watched the changing shift parade. It’s the same routine everyday.
After the shift parade, they stand like this for one hour. Looks like a statue doesn’t it!

Next … The National Palace Museum

Next … Aboriginal Products & Tea Art House
The two ladies are aborigines of Taiwan

This place was selling stuffs made of deer’s foetus! Yes they kill the foetus.

Residential areas

Next … Malahuo guo (spelling?) for dinner (Hot and Spicy Hotbot)

Next … Shihlin Night Market (Finally!). Shihlin is the biggest night market in Taiwan.

Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters etc. on display waiting to be sold …

Wish we had more time to spare at the Shihlin night market. Unfortunately when you join a tour group you need to follow their itinerary.
