We flew with Singapore Airlines (SQ). They were having a promotion and their tickets were cheaper than the others. So during the 4-hour flight, I had enough time to watch ‘Aquamarine’ movie, play some games and take a short nap. Time went by pretty fast. We reached TAIWAN C.K.S International Airport at around noon.

Our tour guide was already waiting for us. This is him introducing himself. He was quite a helpful tour guide.

I find that TAIWAN looks a bit similar to BEIJING in terms of the Infrastructure, but the air isn’t as polluted as in BEIJING. The weather was quite cooling too.

So the 1st place to visit was DANSUI STREET, located in the North-West of TAIPEI. There, they sell lots of foods, cute stuffs, shoes and clothes … but mostly food!

Next to Dansui street is the LOVERS BRIDGE - DANSUI FISHERMEN’S WHARF. This multifunctional fishing harbor includes a new pedestrian boardwalk, Harbor Bridge, and the Taipei County Fish Market. The Danshuei Fishermen’s Wharf was built at this location because of the spectacular sunset, the nearby mouth of the Danshuei River, and view of Mt. Guanyin.

Saw 2 fat pigs as we were heading for dinner at a restaurant

We had BBQ dinner Buffet at this cozy restaurant. Hmmm I didn’t quite like the dinner. There were too much pork stuffs. Think I only enjoyed the free flow of ice cream, especially the iced yoghurt! hehe.

Our first hotel was PLAZA BIENVENUE. I loved the bed!!
